Introductions
- Susie Adamson: Hi everybody, and welcome to our first MOBG Lunch & Learn. I’m Susie Adamson, one of the partners at Tandem Real Estate Group at Compass. I’m joined by Bonnie Ramsey, and we’re so excited to have Leydi Rofman from The Organized Leydi joining us today.
- Bonnie Ramsey: Hi everyone!
- Leydi Rofman: Hi, Susie and Bonnie. It’s great to be here.
Leydi’s Background and Business
- Susie: Leydi, why don’t you tell us a little bit about your background and your business?
- Leydi: Sure. I’ve always been a bit of a neat freak, so it’s no surprise that I ended up becoming a professional organizer. I started my business, The Organized Leydi, about a year ago, and I’ve been really enjoying it so far. I help people declutter their homes and create systems that will help them stay organized in the long run.
- Bonnie: That’s great! I know a lot of people who could use your help.
- Leydi: I’m always happy to help!
Tips for Organizing
- Susie: So, what are some of your top tips for organizing?
- Leydi: Well, there are a few things that I always recommend. First, it’s important to declutter your home before you start organizing. This means getting rid of anything that you don’t use or need. Once you’ve decluttered, you can start creating systems for everything. This could include things like a system for storing your clothes, a system for keeping track of your bills, or a system for organizing your kids’ toys.
- Bonnie: Those are great tips. I’m definitely going to have to declutter my house before I can start organizing it.
- Leydi: It’s definitely worth it! Once you’ve decluttered and created systems, you’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to stay organized.
Advice for Mompreneurs
- Susie: So, Leydi, you’re a mom and a business owner. What advice do you have for other mompreneurs?
- Leydi: Well, I think the most important thing is to find a balance between your work and your family. It’s important to make time for both, and it’s okay to ask for help when you need it. I also think it’s important to be patient with yourself. It takes time to build a successful business, and there will be setbacks along the way. Just keep going, and don’t give up on your dreams.
- Bonnie: That’s great advice. Thanks so much for sharing your story with us today, Leydi.
- Leydi: It was my pleasure.
Wrap-Up
- Susie: Thank you all for joining us today. We hope you enjoyed the lunch and learn, and we hope you’ll join us for our next one.
- Bonnie: Thanks again, Leydi, for coming and sharing your story with us.
- Leydi: It was my pleasure.
